Review for Guesthouse Papastathis in Kalambaka

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this clean, brand-new hotel. The breakfast offered a fantastic selection, including coffee, breads, yogurt, fruit. The location is excellent, just a stone's throw from the Agia Nicholas monastery. it's conveniently situated near the center of Kalambaka, with a restaurant only 50 meters away, and it's the last building on the road to the monasteries.

Hotel was good small and reasonably priced, we appreciated this place.

a fridge, central heating, and a flat-screen tv with satellite channels in our panoramic double room were useful during stay.

Property was good small, I enjoyed the stay.

Immaculate room, that also was cosy with a view of meteora from both sides. The location was magnificent and stunning - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go. Moreover, it was 3 km from Lantern Pike Peak.

The service here is excellent, and the location is really convenient and decent—just what we needed! 😊.

The rooms were very clean. The view of the mountain monestaries from the balconies is amazing. The owners were very helpful even though their english is limited. A new hotel that has only been open 10 months

This hotel offers delicious food and terrific service, is located in a stunning spot near shops and tavernas, and is conveniently close to the village center.

Location: the hotel was really close to the first monastery, public areas, and Meteora from here. And it was at walking distance from Taverna Gardenia, ate there couple of times. The food for breakfast, especially coffee, slices of fresh bread, yogurt, fruit and eggs, was outstanding...

We stayed 2 nights at the Papastathis guesthouse and were very pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the room despite the low cost. The breakfast is more than adequate and there are tavernas not too far away at which to find other meals. The guesthouse is very close to the monasteries and is conveniently placed for taking a trip to Metsovo and Ioannina.

This hotel offers a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, conveniently located near tavernas and a fantastic restaurant.

The hotel is very peaceful in the evening as it is located at the edge of the town closest to the monasteries. The bus to the monasteries goes by in the morning. It was great to watch the rock climbers as I ate breakfast.The hotel owners are very nice and very helpful. The coffee is good.

The trees obscured the monastery view from my balcony but it was still very nice. The owners speak more German than English.

Great, great hotel!!! Just in the entrance of the monastery road, with amazing meteora views from the room, big open balcony, clean and cared room with very good size. The breakfast is home made and gourmet!. The owners make all the possible to make your stay perfect, thank you very much for all! !We hope to return soon.

I had a very nice overall experience at Guesthouse Papastathis. It’s a lovely small hotel situated in a quiet area near one of the monasteries, surrounded by authentic Greek tavernas. The location is amazing, and there's convenient parking on site. they offer a huge variety of good food.

A lovely place in a superb location on the edge of Meteora. Clean rooms, very helpful and friendly staff.

This is one of the best places I have ever visited. The view is breathtaking and can`t be described... The owners are just fantastic and so kind! I can highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone, who likes to enjoy the splendid view to the rocks and to experience the Greek hospitality!
